'Made in Dagenham' - Brilliant.
Well acted by all (Sally Hawkins was exceptional throughout. She managed to make it seem like with every line she was discovering her own voice, and soft but strong at the same time. Excellent) and a very moving piece of cinema. Emotionality was abundant. This film also brilliantly explores the battle between pragmatism and idealism, the doing what's easy vs what's right debate, and gives a real insight into the struggle that striking households face and the relationship strain this brings. Watch it, and discover how important that strike was on the long, and far from over, quest for equality between the sexes.
